OIL SEPARATING DEVICE FOR STREET GULLIES NATURA
An oil-separating device „NATURA“ is designed to separate oil products from rainwater outflowing from car parks, parking and street areas. Its simple structure enables it to install the separating device directly into to the street gullies.

It is designed to separate oil products from rainwater outflowing from car parks, parking and street areas.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The oil-separating device for steel gullies „NATURA” is designed as a cylindrical tank made from the 1.4301 stainless steel. Inside the steel tank there is installed a coalescence filter that may be completed with a sorption filter as needed. The flow volume of “NATURA” is 7 litres per second.
The purification process is based on the weight differences between solids and oil products in the wastewater. Most of the solids (sand, gravel …) settle on the bottom of the sedimentation tank. The oil products clump together on the water surface due to the coalescent filter (1st purification level). The rest of the oil products may be retained by means of the additional sorption filter (2nd purification level). The output value of the oil products in the cleared water is from 5 mg/I NES (after the 1st purification level – due to the coalescent filter) to 0,1 mg/I NES (after the 2nd purification level – due to the additional sorption filter).

INSTALLATION
Its simple structure enables it to install the separating device “NATURA” directly into to the street gullies.
FACILITY SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
During a routine checking, the cast-iron cover and the stainless frame of the oil-separating device for street gullies “NATURA” are to be removed and the solids are to be disposed of into a container. The coalescent filter may be cleaned with water, when it is polluted with sludge, the coalescent filter is to be changed. The sorption filter needs to be changed depending on its pollution.
